DC Comics Revisits Old DCU in CONVERGENCE

[UPDATED] DC Comics has announced this morning the first 20 two-part mini-series that will accompany its Convergence weekly series in April and May 2015. And to say the subjects of the minis are a surprise would be understating it.

Picking up where August 2011 left off, DC is revisiting its pre-New 52 canon in Week One with characters such as Oracle, Nightwing, the Gotham City Sirens, a married Superman, Wally West and his kids, Renee Montoya, Cassandra Cain, Stephanie Brown as Batgirl, a pregnant Jesse Quick, an armless Roy Harper, and more!

Week Two launches with such 90s characters as the Linda Danvers Supergirl, Hal Jordan as Parallax, Azrael as Batman (Azbats!), Connor Hawke, fat Amanda Waller, and many characters from Kingdom Come!

Week Three swings back on characters very familiar to fans of a certain age — The New Teen Titans, The Justice League Detroit, Batman and the Outsiders, Wonder Woman, Green Lanterns Hal Jordan, John Stewart and Guy Gardner, Swamp Thing, and Hawkman and Hawkgirl—all Pre-Crisis On Infinite Earths.

Week Four is set up to take readers back to the Multiverse as it existed before Crisis on Infinite Earths, including Pre-Crisis Earth 2!
