Art by Eric Jones
Published by Image Comics – $2.99

As all of reality collapses, Kid Vigilante travels through the land of the dead in search of salvation.

Why It’s Hot: It’s been awhile, but the acclaimed series is back! Danger Club tells the story of a world where the adult superheroes were taken out, and the teenage sidekicks have to step up and save the world. The series is brutal, unrelenting, bad ass, and packs in a bunch of what makes comics awesome (including giant Robots!). With almost two years in-between issues, it would have been easy just to write off Danger Club, but fans of the series will be ecstatic to see it back. For those of you that want to get in on the fun you can pick up the first TPB, or buy issues 1-5 digitally for $1.99 off the Image website.

Written by Rick Remender
Art by Daniel Acuna
Published by Marvel Comics – $3.99

•  From the ashes of AXIS an all-new, all different Avengers assemble!
•  The tragedy at the end of AXIS has left the Uncanny Avengers vulnerable, and someone is taking advantage of it.
•  One of the Avengers oldest foes returns with a terrible secret that will, all hyperbole aside, shatter the lives of two members of the squad.
•  What is Counter-Earth? What terrible secrets does it house?

Why It’s Hot: Uncanny Avengers was one of the best books that Marvel was publishing heading into Axis. While the company wide crossover event may have not lived up to the expectations of certain readers, it is safe to say that Rick Remender has always worked better when his work is given its own corner to to grow in. With an interesting lineups characters, Daniel Acuna on art, and some intriguing plot points from Axis to follow up on, there’s no reason to believe that this volume of Uncanny Avengers won’t match the quality of its predecessor.
