#1 What is the first comic you remember reading?

I’m pretty sure it was a trade of Elfquest that I read in my local library after school.

#2 You can only pick two: all time favorite comic book characters?

I’m deferring to my teenage self on this one: Death and Tank Girl.

#3 What is your favorite series arc, limited or mini-series of all time?

Of all time? This is so difficult! I can’t say I won’t change my mind later, but I love The Sixth Gun’s third arc, Bound.

#4 How do you read your comics? Print, digital, trades?

I’m spoiled because we have an office pull list, so I primarily read in print single issues. I pick up trades for my bus commute.

#5 What is your favourite independent comic you feel everyone should be picking up?

The Bunker!

#6 You get to pick three: Favorite writers (current or of all time)?

People I’m reading right now that I love: Ariel Ries, John Allison, and Noelle Stevenson.

#7 What is your favorite comic collector’s item?

Original art! I already have too much but I love it, I can’t stop.

#8 As a reader do you tend to stick to a specific publisher, follow creative teams or follow characters?

As a fan, I follow creators! Nothing better than great creators doing a variety of interesting projects. But I also read widely in general.

#9 You get to pick three (again): Favorite artists?

People I’m reading right now that I love: Andrew MacLean, Paulina Ganucheau, and Colleen Coover.

#10 What was the last comic you read before answering these questions?

The Death-Defying Dr. Mirage by Jen Van Meter, Roberto De La Torre, and David Baron! Great stuff.
