Happy Thursday, comic readers! It’s time for another Ten Tweets, and this time we welcome Alex Snow (@Geodude96) to the hot seat to talk about his reading habits. How did he fare when faced with the infamous Ten? Find out below!
#1 What is the first comic you remember reading?
Garfield.
#2 You can only pick two: all time favorite comic book characters?
Spider-Man and Batman.
#3 What is your favorite series arc, limited or mini-series of all time?
Hard to pick one. Toss up between No Man’s Land and Cassie Cain and Stephanie Brown’s Batgirl books.
#4 How do you read your comics? Print, digital, trades?
For new stuff: mostly print, some digital. For older stuff: mostly trades.
#5 What is your favourite independent comic you feel everyone should be picking up?
Shutter.
#6 You get to pick three: Favorite writers (current or of all time)?
Bryan Q. Miller, Gail Simone, Scott Snyder.
#7 What is your favorite comic collector’s item?
The Batman statue that came with the collectors’ edition of the Batman: Arkham City game.
#8 As a reader do you tend to stick to a specific publisher, follow creative teams or follow characters?
I’m hesitant to try new things in general, including comics. I mostly stick to DC and follow certain characters.
#9 You get to pick three (again): Favorite artists?
I’m bad at recognizing and appreciating art and art styles, but…Amanda Conner, Dustin Nguyen, Phil Noto.
#10 What was the last comic you read before answering these questions?
Injustice: Gods Among Us (Year One) #36
