Happy Thursday, comic fans! It’s time to cure that NCBD hangover by reading about what Bobby Keough (@Man_of_Feelz) has to say about the mighty Ten Tweets!
#1 What is the first comic you remember reading?
My first comic I ever read was Geoff John’s Superman: Secret Origin. I read that trade in early 2012 and have loved comics ever since!
#2 You can only pick two: all time favorite comic book characters?
Clark Kent/Superman and Captain America/Steve Rogers. I am a fan of the “good guys” who are selfless and have a strong morality sense.
#3 What is your favorite series arc, limited or mini-series of all time?
Bendis’s “New Avengers” 1-64. Honorable mention to “52” by Morrison/Waid/Johns/Rucka, “The New Frontier” by Cooke, and “Gotham Central.”
#4 How do you read your comics? Print, digital, trades?
I prefer print singles and trades over digital because I like having physical copies of what I am reading. I do digital for sales mostly.
#5 What is your favourite independent comic you feel everyone should be picking up?
“Saga” by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples by far! Such a beautiful and emotional series. Honorable mention to “Zero” by Ales Kot!
#6 You get to pick three: Favorite writers (current or of all time)?
I have go with Geoff Johns, Brian Michael Bendis, and Mark Waid. I will read anything they write, no matter the character or company!
#7 What is your favorite comic collector’s item?
I am a huge Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman fan, and for our anniversary my girlfriend bought me her entire 50 issue original run in singles!
#8 As a reader do you tend to stick to a specific publisher, follow creative teams or follow characters?
I follow both characters that I love and creative teams no matter what company they go to. I read a ton of Marvel, DC, and Image/indies.
#9 You get to pick three (again): Favorite artists?
I could name a ton, but my favorite three would have to be Humberto Ramos, Chris Samnee, and Alex Maleev.
#10 What was the last comic you read before answering these questions?
She Hulk #10 by Soule and Pulido. I absolutely love this series and continue to mourn that it is ending. JENNIFER WALTERS SMASH!
