Anthony Blackwood

Since inheriting his late uncle’s comic collection as a kid, comic books have been a huge part of Anthony’s life. His first comic was X-Men #30, the wedding of Scott Summers and Jean Grey. Although Anthony was too young to read it, he ogled at all the characters he didn’t recognize and had to learn more about them. And learn he did, Anthony now considers himself one of the chief X-Men minds on the planet. Although he found his love for Marvel’s Mutants early in life, he credits X-Men Evolution and Grant Morrison’s New X-Men run for cementing his commitment and for bringing him into his local comic book store week after week. During college, he had the chance of a lifetime and served as the Editorial Intern for the X-Men office. It was a dream come true and easily the coolest thing Anthony has done with his life thus far. Besides comics, Anthony is a recent college graduate with aspirations to be a screenwriter.
