#1 What is the first comic you remember reading?

Richie Rich, around ’90-’91. Though I didn’t read them, my dad read them to me.

#2 You can only pick two: all time favorite comic book characters?

TOUGH. I’ll go with Batgirl/Kate Kane and Hannah from Rat Queens.

#3 What is your favorite series arc, limited or mini-series of all time?

I’m cheating. DC all time fav is Kingdom Come by Ross and Waid. Marvel all time fav is Astonishing X-Men by Whedon and Cassidy.

#4 How do you read your comics? Print, digital, trades?

I work at @Lees_Comics in the Bay Area so I’m old school print 100%.

#5 What is your favourite independent comic you feel everyone should be picking up?

There’s TOO MANY! But I must say, everyone needs to be reading Lady Killer (Dark Horse).

#6 You get to pick three: Favorite writers (current or of all time)?

I’m going to have to go with Greg Rucka, Brian K. Vaughn, and Grant Morrison.

#7 What is your favorite comic collector’s item?

I have a copy of the very first Image Expo program (when it was in Oakland!) Signed by all the heads of Image Comics.

#8 As a reader do you tend to stick to a specific publisher, follow creative teams or follow characters?

I’m all over the place, there are certain characters I’ll follow, but I’ll also follow around creators/creative teams.

#9 You get to pick three (again): Favorite artists?

Fiona Staples, Ryan Ottley, JH Williams, and Sean Murphy. #Cheating
